Description:
"And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked." Genesis 3:7
The gracious summons of God to all His people in every generation is one which calls them to a life of nonconformity to the standards and practices of the unbelieving world (Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:17).
However, obedience to this summons demands that the people of God continually bring their conscience to the governing influence of the Word of God (Psalm 1:1-3). There must be no area of thought or practice concerning which we refuse to pray, "Search me, oh God...and see if there be any wicked way in me..." (Psalm 139:23-24).
The author of these pages seeks to bring to the light of Scripture and responsible, factual research the practice of acceptable public nakedness as it relates to the bathing suit industry. Mr. Pollard is conscious that some will write off his concerns as an infringement on their Christian liberty, while others will judge him to be cowardly in not making more detailed and sweeping judgments. May God give to each reader that wonderful disposition attributed to the Bereans who"received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11).
